Referendum petitions have stalled Seattle`s new ride-service rules, further escalating the debate over regulating taxi, mobile-app and for-hire companies. Should rideshare services such as Uber, Lyft and Sidecar be more heavily regulated? What about capping the number of cars they operate in the city? Should the city offer more cab licenses?
