This week on CityStream local humanitarians team up with the Gates Foundation to fight polio in remote corners of the world. We`ll also explore the foundation`s efforts to address homelessness in King County and improve newborn health care in Third World countries. Then, we visit Seattle Public Library`s American Sign Language book club and tour school-based health centers designed to cut sick days and keep kids in the classroom.
