At work, she's the Director of Communications at UW Bothell. But on her own time, Maria Lamarca Anderson ventures out several times a week to help the homeless. Usually, this involves delivering donated meals from restaurants to anyone in need. She also checks up on people she's come to know, offering whatever help she can. The assistance she provides is especially welcome given the COVID-19 crisis. But this is nothing new to Anderson. As Enrique Cerna discovered, she's been offering her help for more than 20 years.
