Art Zone barrels into Hattie's Hat in Ballard, where owner Max Generaux shares some history about the iconic watering hole. Author Mary McKinley discusses her teen novel,  Beau, Lee, The Bomb and Me, about a tribe of bullied misfits. Marcie Sillman, host of KUOW's The Record, takes a break from the headlines to share her not-so-secret love for ballet. Plus, we head to Hattie's back room for a rare, solo, acoustic performance by Ayron Jones then pop in to Bop Street Records, where jazz guitarist Bill Frisell talks about the inspiration for his new CD Guitar in the Space Age.
