Seattle Mayor Jenny A. Durkan, King County Executive Dow Constantine, Public Health - Seattle & King County Health Officer Dr. Jeff Duchin, and Seattle Fire Department Chief Harold Scoggins discuss preparations for forecasts of unhealthy to hazardous air quality caused by wildfires occurring during the crisis of COVID-19.

Recent forecasts show shifting wind patterns that could cause some of the dense smoke produced by the wildfires in Oregon and California to move into Western Washington over the next several days, potentially causing unhealthy to hazardous air quality in the Puget Sound Region.
