As concerns mount over gun violence, sex trafficking, and housing affordability, voters in North Seattle are gearing up to choose a new city councilmember in November. Voting rights advocate Nilu Jenks and educator and civic leader Julie Kang are running for the seat vacated by Cathy Moore, and the winner will serve out the final year of Moore's term. City Inside/Out host Brian Callanan interviews both candidates to learn how they would tackle the challenges facing District 5.
