Art Zone segments

Technically speaking, Yuri Kinoshita designs light fixtures, but that description doesn’t come close to capturing the look and feel of her gorgeous sculptural installations. She told Art Zone she likes to design pieces that are simple, yet playful, and finds much of her inspiration in empty spaces, shrines, and breezes. She creates both commercial and residential work, and will be showing some at the Kyoto Art & Antiques fall show, running Oct. 24-Nov. 3 in Georgetown.
