CityStream: Freaky Fun & Fix-it Fund
10/18/201827:54

Each year, the haunting season intensifies when the doors creak open at the Georgetown Morgue. This dark and devious house of horrors is irresistible to many. But behind the elaborate costumes and outlandish makeup beats a heart full of compassion and giving. Then, is your neighborhood in need of street repairs or park improvements? YOU can do something about it! The city has a special $3 million fund residents can tap into. Just get enough of your neighbors to vote for an improvement project, and the money could flow your way. And, for those brave souls looking to further indulge their fondness for fear, Seattle has an assortment of spooky tours. Host Dennis Bounds has these stories, plus a ghostly encounter, from Pioneer Square.
