Civic Cocktail

The drinks were cold and the conversation hot at the first Civic Cocktail, a new program featuring a civic conversation with a twist. Last night`s sold-out event at Palace Ballroom featured an audience-driven conversation about the future of public education and the proposed Sodo arena. Brian Callanan moderated a panel featuring Highline School District Superintendent Susan Enfield; Art Thiel, Crosscut sports correspondent and co-founder of Sportspress Northwest; Stranger News Editor Dominic Holden; and Crosscut Associate Editor Berit Anderson. Civic Cocktail, presented by Seattle Channel, Crosscut and CityClub, is a great opportunity to network, enjoy drinks and Tom Douglas appetizers and discuss the hot issues of the day.
