For nearly 30 years, they've been a colorful reminder of West Seattle's rich history, but 11 outdoor murals in Seattle's oldest neighborhood are showing their age. The community pulled together, organized, and now a costly restoration of the paintings has begun. And despite a neighborhood philanthropist's $100,000 check, the project still needs donations. As the funds trickle in, West Seattleites are satisfied knowing their link to the past will not fade away. Brian Callanan has the story.
