CityStream: COVID-19 Crisis: Year in Review

As the nation marks one year of misery and isolation, we reflect on the past 12 months and Seattle's response to the COVID-19 crisis. Early on, field hospitals sprang up when medical experts feared hospital intensive care units would be inundated. Then, when coronavirus testing hit a snag, supplies were located and the city provided free tests. The public cheered on heroic healthcare workers, organizations rallied to feed those in need, and backlash against Asian American businesses galvanized the community. Today, there is hope with the end in sight as millions of Americans receive vaccinations. Host Enrique Cerna has these stories from City Hall.
