Open for Business, Outdoor Learning & Blossoms in Bloom
4/20/202125:01
Black Coffee Northwest opened its doors just as many businesses were closing during the pandemic. Despite early setbacks, the café is thriving. And along with a great cup of coffee, it's also serving up an education in Black culture. Schools have also opened to in-person learning. And while technology has been essential for teachers this past year, one Seattle preschool, the Fiddleheads Forest School, prefers an unplugged approach in the classroom! Also, learn how the University of Washington's stunning cherry trees came to be. Host Dennis Bounds has these stories and more from Fritz Hedges Waterway Park.
