A California man dedicated to justice has traveled the country to have 48-star U.S. flags signed by Japanese Americans who were forced into incarceration camps or fought in the armed forces during World War II. Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Johnny Gogo started his journey in 2021 and has had more than 1,000 people sign the flags, including former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta and actor George Takei. Gogo recently traveled to Seattle and shared with the Seattle Channel why one U.S. Supreme Court case inspired his project. Video by Randy Eng
