Getting from here to there now takes longer than ever. Growing traffic volumes, collisions, and road work all contribute to longer commutes, creating a major aggravation for drivers in this region. Now, the City of Seattle is partnering with Google’s artificial intelligence teams to streamline the drive. Project Green Light uses AI and machine learning from Google’s vast maps database to improve signal timing. It also reduces vehicle emissions. Tatevik Aprikyan reports.
