CityStream: Cooper’s hawks move from the country to the city
11/12/20248:58
They once nested deep in the backwoods, but recently, Cooper’s hawks have relocated to the city. Their migration has now made them the most common, medium-sized woodland raptor in Seattle. But it’s hard to tell, these hawks are so stealthy most people are unaware they’re around. The Urban Raptor Conservancy is tracking the movement of these fascinating hawks, and so did we! Producers Annabel and Pete Cassam take a closer look.
