What do you get when art collides with environmental awareness? The Recycled Arts Festival - a two-day event showcasing works of art made from recyclable materials. And, aside from a juried art exhibit, the festival also featured an outdoor sculpture garden, art cars, a fix-it clinic, and an eco-fashion show. Dozens of artists converged on the Phinney Neighborhood Center to show their works and share ideas. Organizers call it a fun and creative way to excite and educate the community about reusing and recycling everyday items.
