Tim Burgess has worn many hats over the years: journalist, Seattle police officer, consultant, business owner, City Council member, Council president and finally mayor of Seattle. Now, after a decade on the Council, and two months as mayor, he's set to retire. Over the years, he's earned the reputation as a leader who brings people together.  His pro-business stance and his strong belief in the value of early childhood education are among the hallmarks of his career at City Hall.
