Kimberly Trowbridge, artist and director of the Trowbridge Atelier at Gage Academy of Art, developed a series of paintings in the style of plein-air, or painting outdoors, out of a two-year stint as a Creative Fellow at the Bloedel Reserve. That body of work culminated in her first-ever solo museum exhibit at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Created by Peggy Lycett.
