Through a CityArtist grant from the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, the Steve Griggs Ensemble presents a program of stories and music at the John T. Williams Memorial Totem Pole (corner of 5th Ave and Broad St.). The program explores the 2010 shooting of indigenous carver John T. Williams by a young white Seattle Police Officer on the seventh anniversary of the tragic event.
