Mayor, city leaders discuss homelessness & housing strategy in Seattle Rescue Plan

Building off of the successful purchase of the Clay Apartments and the permanent supportive housing pilot launched last year, Mayor Jenny A. Durkan, Councilmember Andrew J. Lewis, Sen. David Frockt, and other City officials discuss homelessness and housing as part of the Seattle Rescue Plan. $28 million in funding is proposed to quickly acquire or build at least 300 units of affordable permanent housing for people experiencing homelessness.
