Dr. Quintard Taylor joins Dr. Quin’Nita Cobbins-Modica to celebrate the release of the second edition of “The Forging of a Black Community." Taylor is the founder of BlackPast.org, author of several books, and is currently the Scott and Dorothy Bullitt Professor of American History and professor emeritus at the University of Washington. “The Forging of a Black Community” traces the history and present of the largest black community in the Pacific Northwest.
