CityStream: Happy 20th Anniversary, Seattle Channel!
12/13/20229:00
Happy anniversary, to us! Seattle Channel is celebrating its 20th year. Looking back, the city of Seattle’s government-access television station started as Seattle Municipal Cable TV 28, which doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. Later it was renamed TVSea. Then in 2002, Seattle Channel was born. With the new name came a variety of original programming, including Art Zone, City Inside/Out, and CityStream. Community Stories, Book Lust, and the Video Voters’ Guide have also helped Seattle Channel become one of America’s finest government-access TV stations! Producers Randy Eng and Addy Pratt have much more.
