Seattle’s Third Avenue is a busy transit corridor that has deteriorated greatly during the pandemic. The city recently launched Operation New Day to crack down on crime and boost public safety. Businesses are cautiously optimistic, saying failure is not an option. We look at the effort to revive downtown while protecting other vulnerable neighborhoods.
