Mayor Harrell signs new labor contracts with City of Seattle employees

Mayor Bruce Harrell joined members of the Coalition of City Unions (CCU), labor leaders, and City workers to sign new labor contracts into law. Centered on wage equity for the lowest paid employees, the labor contracts were unanimously ratified by the City Council this week and will help the City to recruit and retain highly qualified employees to deliver the essential services that residents expect.
