With a rise in ride-sharing and for-hire services, calling a cab in Seattle has changed dramatically in the last 18 months. App-powered ride-sharing services are picking up passengers across the city, and traditional cab drivers are pushing back. Our studio guests include Mike O`Brien, Vice-Chair of the City Council`s Committee on Taxi, For-Hire and Limousine Regulations, John Zimmer, co-founder and president of Lyft, Parminder Cheema, a Yellow Cab driver and member of the Western Washington Taxi Cab Operators Association and blind rideshare user Mike Mello.
