City Inside/Out: Waterfront LID Debate
1/18/201927:43

The recent viaduct closure has brought an unusual quiet to Seattle's downtown waterfront. Meanwhile, a major land deal is being sealed. The Seattle City Council will soon vote on how to fund a $712 million plan to remake Seattle's waterfront. While some property owners have balked at the tax proposal, others say they're happy to pay the price. We look at the benefits, costs and concerns behind rebuilding Seattle's waterfront.
