By looking at characters in storybooks, teaching artist Ciara McCormack Greenwalt of Moving Minds Dance uses dance and movement to better understand characters by trying on their features, personality, and emotions. The storybook in this lesson is Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak. This lesson is great for all ages, particularly youth Pre-K thru 2nd grade.
