Traditional Native Storytelling with Fern Renville: "Iya, the Camp-Eater"

Teaching artist Fern Renville tells this Dakota legend of how a community recognizes and changes based on a common threat. This scary story can reveal insights on communication, planning, cooperation, and courage. This lesson is great for learners of all ages, particularly youth grades 3-8.
