They begin as artificial evergreens but are transformed into dazzling symbols of the season. Nearly two dozen Christmas trees, decorated with painstaking care, sell for thousands of dollars! But all the proceeds go to Seattle Children’s Hospital. And a spectacle of nature is playing out at Seattle’s Carkeek Park. A historic run of chum salmon is providing quite a show for curious visitors. Host Enrique Cerna has these stories and more from Westlake Park.
