Look, Listen and Learn (LL+L) is a new concept in public access television. As an early learning educational program, LLL helps bridge the achievement gap by featuring local enrichment venues and applying brain development knowledge to foster learning and enhance caregiver-child relationships.
Have you ever been bullied before? You're not alone. In this episode of Look, Listen and Learn, Possum talks to Auntie Lena about a bullying experience he had at school. Together they learn why it's important to say no, rise above it, and take a stand. Join Possum's friends in these fun and creative activities:
Reading - Humma and Mr. Dawa read "One" by Kathryn Otoshi at the Woodland Park Zoo and learn how it takes only one to stand up against bullying.
Art - Miss Ellie makes paper kites and talks about how to "rise above" bullying at Atlantic Street Center.
Cooking - AnnaLucia and Mr. Tomas make their own trail mix, a fun snack made up of many different parts, just like us.
