Look, Listen and Learn (LL+L) is a new concept in public access television. As an early learning educational program, LLL helps bridge the achievement gap by featuring local enrichment venues and applying brain development knowledge to foster learning and enhance caregiver-child relationships.
This episode celebrates the importance of family. Families can be chosen or born into. Auntie Lena and Possum talk about how families can look different, but they are all special and filled with people you love. Look, Listen and Learn with us about the joys of family and ways to honor our families every day, whether they’re chosen or not.
Tune in for these segments: First, Miss Marie and her son Chase read “Ordinary Ohana” by Lee Cataluna, and learn about the true meaning of “ohana” at the Renton Library. Then, Miss Chelsea and her daughter Esther make yummy cornbread at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands. Finally, Miss Olivia teaches how to make beautiful leis to honor the loved ones in our families at the Nepantla Cultural Arts Gallery.
