On Tuesday, Mayor Katie Wilson explained why she vetoed Council Bill 121283, which would have created a new Recreational Vehicle (RV) permit program. Wilson signed the other four ordinances included in the legislative package. She also announced a new Executive Order focused on addressing issues related to RVs by strengthening outreach and support services for people living in them and improving coordination among City departments and community partners. The order aims to achieve better outcomes for people living in vehicles, reduce the number of people living in vehicles over time, and create cleaner, safer public spaces for everyone.
