Former Mayor Mike McGinn, the Seattle International Foundation, World Affairs Council, One America, and other community stakeholders launch the Seattle Ambassador Program. Seattle Ambassador will highlight the Seattle region as a world hub of global development work, engage local community members in that work, and offer residents the chance to win an all expense paid trip overseas to see local nonprofits in action.
