Front Row: Bailadores de Bronce
2/15/20241:14:29
Bailadores de Bronce was founded at the University of Washington in 1972, emerging from the Civil Rights and Chicano movements. In 2023, they proudly celebrated their 50th anniversary, showcasing performances that highlighted traditional dances from across Mexico. These performances featured dancers from the Seattle area and Washington state, illustrating the diversity of Mexican culture influenced by Indigenous, European, and African roots. Audiences were transported from northern Nuevo León to southern Yucatán, experiencing the beauty of dances from Zacatecas, Jalisco, and Veracruz.
