Host Nancy Guppy grew up in Seattle and, with the exception of a three-year stint in Los Angeles, has lived in the city her entire life. Before creating arts programming for the Seattle Channel, Nancy spent 10 years as a writer/performer/producer on KING TV's late night comedy show, Almost Live!. Nancy enjoys morning coffee, daily walks, dinner with friends, hang time with husband Joe, and hitting the local art scene as much as she possibly can.
Local photographer Mari Tamura captures the high energy of live rock and roll in her new book "Early Works;" the talented duo Aline & Wes perform a tune from their new EP "Armageddon of Love;" World renowned sculptor and muralist Marela Zacarias transforms MadArt Studio into an inspired imagining of the emblematic Temple of the Feathered Serpent located near her hometown in central Mexico; Roaring Mouse Creative Studio inspires creativity in kids; Nancy demonstrates Seattle fashion; and Joe attempts to fly a kite.
