Book Lust with Nancy Pearl featuring Paul Yoon
3/12/202028:22
Author Paul Yoon speaks with Nancy Pearl about where his stories come from, his writing process, and what influences his poetic writing style. Yoon's new book, "Run Me To Earth," follows three orphans in Laos during the late 1960s and early 1970s when the U.S. Air Force and CIA dropped an estimated two million tons of ordnance on the tiny, landlocked country as part of a covert attempt to defeat communism in Southeast Asia. He also explains his interest in stories of war and displacement and how that subject affects him personally.
