Community Videos
Amazon, Mayor Durkan, State Senator Joe Nguyen, and leadership from across Washington's Community Colleges announce a new initiative that will open new doors and opportunities for students across the State of Washington. Three interrelated grants will support the start-up of new Bachelor of Science in Computer Science programs at community and technical colleges in Seattle and across Washington. The grants - each a million dollars - go to Seattle Colleges Foundation, the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges, and the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship program.
