Seattle Mayor Katie B. Wilson announced her latest effort to increase bus service with a proposal to renew and expand the Seattle Transit Measure. The previous measure was passed by 80% of voters in 2020 and currently funds frequent transit service throughout the day, Seattle Streetcar operations, construction projects to fix pinch-points where buses get delayed, and free ORCA cards for people with qualifying needs.
