Seattle’s only river, the Duwamish, has been a work in progress for decades. Once a toxic mess, it’s now much improved. And the best way to see the progress is by boat! Washington’s wine industry is booming, with more than 1,100 wineries in this state. All those wineries need skilled workers, and many are learning the ropes at South Seattle College’s Northwest Wine Academy. Seattle is home to the world’s longest-running comedy/variety program, the Moisture Festival. You still have time to get in on the fun!
