The idea of the American Dream predates the founding of our nation. Its complex trajectory illuminates the contradiction, tension and potential contained within our individual and collective dreams and experiences. In celebration of the life, legacy and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this Pecha Kucha Seattle event unites inspiring community leaders from across the region to explore their unique relationship to the American Dream and share their understanding of its relevance to our broader community, challenging us to reconsider what it means to be American as we reach the quarter-mark of the 21st Century.
