This 1960s film produced by Seattle City Light (with help from the US Forest Service) takes a big picture look at energy and at hydroelectric power, and gets into the science involved. The lectures are interspersed with much scenic footage of the area (and lots of crew-cut and bouffant-coiffed people enjoying themselves) around Diablo Dam on the Upper Skagit River.
