Mayor Murray unveils fair chance housing proposal

Mayor Ed Murray is joined by Councilmember Lisa Herbold and housing advocates to unveil fair chance housing legislation, which aims to reduce barriers faced by people with arrest and/or conviction records. The proposal was a recommendation of the Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda and has long been sought by advocates for equity in housing access.
