Mayor Ed Murray signs Fair Chance Housing legislation which reduces housing barriers faced by people with arrest or conviction records. The legislation was a recommendation of his Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda and was long sought by advocates to increase equity in housing access. The legislation was unveiled in June of this year and passed City Council earlier this month.
