Seattle`s Public Art: Paul Sorey, Tree Bench
Seattle`s Public Art: Paul Sorey, Tree Bench
4/9/20075:24
Paul Sorey was the first artist selected (from the Public Art Roster) to complete a small park project under the Pro Parks Art Plan. Pratt Park was selected because of its geographic location within the city and its relation to other park sites selected for art projects. Paul used the metaphor of a tree as a gathering of many cultures. Produced for the Seattle Channel by John Forsen with support from the Mayor`s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs.
