Ed Murray served as mayor of the city of Seattle from 2014 to 2017, leaving office on September 13, 2017.
Ever since Mayor Ed Murray initiated Find it, Fix It Community Walks in 2014, over a hundred infrastructure improvements have been made - ranging from new trash and recycle bins to upgraded street lights. To date, nine community walks have been held to bring together city and community resources to transform our neighborhoods, block by block. Thanks to a partnership with Cities of Service, the City is also granting up to $5,000 for community revitalization projects in each Find It, Fix It neighborhood. The Mayor will continue neighborhood revitalization efforts by leading three more walks this year.
