The 5th Avenue is the premier spot in Seattle to catch classic musical theater. Many shows are locally produced and some are “test runs for Broadway.” Hairspray and Memphis are examples of shows that have become Tony Award winners. For the last twelve years Artistic Director and Executive Producer David Armstrong has kept the 5th moving forward. CityStream`s Tom Speer sat down with David to find out how just how he got here.
