Math is a struggle for many kids. Enter eMode Learning. The program's innovative approach to math is tailored toward kids of color and is designed to develop early numerical literacy and a love of learning. The "e" in eMode stands for engagement and also enrichment. Founder Norman Alston says kids learn in a variety of ways and are no less engaged when they're playing a game as when they're doing a worksheet. The experiential-based program helps students see math in a new way and develop their confidence and math skills along the way.
